Trip 63 - Sunday - Mar 8th, 2009

Marcia's Birthday was Saturday the 7th. Well, gotsta tell you, boy does she look good as we cruise along in life!

Earlier in the week, I took the engine in the darkroom and took the paint remover to the cases etc. The old stuff just fell off.

Then, on Sunday we went for a car ride and removed some things where four hands were required.

 

It just peels right off. I used the spray on kind and that really makes the application easy.

 

Engine nice and clean. I decided to put some of the smaller items in envelopes for easy assembly.

 

These items will go to the machinist for his skill. I do not have the equipment.

We pulled it out of here and my oh my, it was a real tight fit up against the diagonal bulkhead in the lower left. But, it did come out in the end. I will try to sell it on eBay.

 

The bilge pump will be relocated where it is far easier to use in an emergency.

 

Took the starter panel off. A new one will be built and relocated where it is really easy to use.
